Original History & Charter (Hand Written by Rudolph E. Hufnagel-Wednesday June 14, 1989) After the 10 Year Anniversary this is how Daylight Lodge #752 in E'ville was started. The idea of another Masonic Lodge started in 1971 or 1972 when Worshipful Orlin W. Lockridge of Lessing Lodge #464 P.M. was then executive Secretary of Scottish Rite Valley of Evansville. When we discussed of better or improved program activity for the Summer and Winter seasons in addition to Spring and Fall convocations, but no action was taken. However, in the Spring of 1976 the discussion was again raised about having a daytime Masonic Lodge and was mentioned to then, the Deputy Grand Master Roy O. Turner, who expressed interest to include Retire's or Senior Masons and permit Men who work 2nd or 3rd shift work and would be the first daytime Masonic Lodge in Indiana. It was not discussed again until Spring Convocation in 1977, when Most Worshipful Past Grand Master Frank J. Krug that a letter be mailed to the (3) top officers, W.M., S.W. & J.W. of Evansville #64, Reed #316, Lessing #464 and Constellation #748.
